Couples looking to marry on a Sunday this year may want to take advantage of a special package currently being offered by Ashdown Park Hotel and Country Club in
East Sussex.
The venue is offering a complimentary upgrade to all couples who book a Sunday wedding during 2008. So, if you book the silver package you will automatically be upgraded to the gold option, and if you book the gold package you will be upgraded to platinum.
The venue has also recently carried out some spring cleaning on its lake and installed a new bridge and jetty, making a perfect setting for outdoor photographs. The winners of our Win a Wedding competition tied the knot recently at Alexander House Hotel in Sussex.
Although there were some rain showers on the day, Felicia Page, 27, and Adam Peters, 30, enjoyed a wonderful butterfly-themed wedding.
The whole event took place at Alexander House Hotel (www.alexanderhotels.co.uk) and the wedding co-ordination was overseen by Sue and Clive Parrish of Eleganza Weddings (www.eleganzaweddings.com). The photography was provided by Joe Doyle of Jofoto (www.jofoto.co.uk) and the flowers were courtesy of Blooms for Business (www.bloomsforbusiness.com). Westways Carriage Horses (www.westwayscarriagehorses.co.uk) provided a horse and carriage for the couple and Extreme Cakes (www.extremecakes.co.uk) donated a stunning wedding cake.
