I want beautiful plump lips

Q. My lips are fairly narrow and I would like them to look plump and gorgeous on my big day. I'm certainly not going to have any kind of surgery, so how can I make my lips look their best naturally?

A. Caroline Kearney says: I often come across this in my job - all you need to do is simply apply make-up in the correct way.
You need to remember that dark-coloured lipsticks will immediately bring attention to your lips and highlight the fact that they are narrow, while a colour that is too light will make them 'disappear'.
The first thing you need to do is to use some lip primer or foundation. Next use a liner and draw just above your natural
lip line then smudge this to soften it. Colour the whole area with
the liner.
Now you are ready to apply your chosen colour. I find it works best to apply one coat, then blot and apply a final layer. A little gloss applied to the centre of the lips will give the appearance of fullness.

Skin complex?

Q. I have alot of freckles on my face and while I normally quite like them, I'm wondering if I should cover them up on my wedding day. What do you think?

A. Caroline Kearney says: You say you normally like your freckles, so I am guessing you don't usually cover them up. If this is the cae I wouldn't recommend that you try to disguise them at all, but that you work with them instead; freackles can be a very prominent and endearing facial feature. While every bride wants to feel special on her ig day, it is also about being yourself.
If you have a good complexion I would recommend something such as tinted moisturiser, which will give you a very sheer coverage, while still allowing your freckles to show, therefore maintaining a natural look. If you require slightly more coverage, choose a light foundation which will disguise your freckles a little more and cover up any blemishes. For a full coverage I would recommend using a medium to heavy foundation, but this will of course blot out your freckles altogether.
