Over the course of 2010, we've scoured the region high and low for inspirational weddings. Readers have voted online for their favourites, and now it's time to announce the grand final. Below are our four finalists - vote for the couple you'd like to walk away with the Wedding of the Year 2010 title.

Voting for the final closes on 17 February 2012.

Meet the finalists

Couple: Lucy and Neil Stubbings
Date: 19th December, 2010
Venue: Buxted Park
Colour scheme: Purple and silver

Lucy on...
Marriage:
I not only had my perfect wedding but married the most wonderful man who is also my best friend. I feel we're more of a family since I have taken Neil's surname. We have a son, Henry, and another baby on the way which we're thrilled about.

Anniversary celebrations: We've planned a day out in London for our anniversary to visit The Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition and Neil has also booked a surprise lunch somewhere special.

Making it to the final: I feel incredibly lucky to still be allowed to talk about my wedding a year on! It was a great day and we feel touched that readers thought it sounded good enough to vote for.

Why they should win: We tried to make our day personal to us and one that we, along with our family and friends, would enjoy and always treasure.

Couple: Debbie and David Jonnes
Date: 15th April, 2011
Ceremony venue: St Peter's church, Brighton
Reception venue: Pangdean Barn, Brighton
Colour scheme: Green, blue and grey

Debbie on...
Marriage:
The best thing about married life is knowing that there is someone in the world who loves you dearly and always has your best interests at heart.

Anniversary celebrations: We'll have a holiday for our anniversary, just the two of us, although we're not sure where yet. We'll pop open a bottle of bubbly and look through our wedding box, which is full of special memories from the day.

Making it to the final: We're delighted to be in the final and would like to thank everyone who voted for us. We're so happy all the joy of the day came across to readers as well as our friends and family.

Why they should win: We're an ordinary couple who are lucky enough to have an extraordinary community of friends and family. We feel that our day was ultimately about the journey we've made together as a couple as well as those around us.

Couple: Charlotte and Darren Dean
Date: 25th June, 2011
Ceremony venue: Framfield Church, Uckfield
Reception venue: A marquee
Colour scheme: Green, silver and white

Charlotte on...
Marriage:
We feel closer after spending such a special day together. The vows were the most important part of the wedding, as we shared with our loved ones our commitment to each other.

Anniversary celebrations: We'll be spending our first anniversary doing something romantic just the two of us. We're not sure what yet, but we'll most likely go for dinner.

Making it to the final: We're both still shocked and cannot believe people have taken the time to vote for us. I loved reading Your Sussex Wedding while I was planning the big day and since being featured I've bought lots of copies to give to family and friends as well a putting a copy in our keepsake box.

Why they should win: If we won the competition it would be a real compliment to the planning and effort that both Darren and I, and our families, put into organising our nuptials.

Couple: Vikki and James Potten
Date: 6th August, 2011
Ceremony venue: Worth Abbey, Ardingly
Reception venue: Ardingly Showground
Colour scheme: Purple

Vikki on...
Marriage:
The best thing about marriage is being able to share your life with your best friend. Every time we look at our rings, or see a photo of our wedding, we're reminded of what a great day we had and the promises we made to each other.

Anniversary celebrations: For our first anniversary we'd love to go back to the beach in Barbados where James proposed.

Making it to the final: We're over the moon and feel lucky and proud to be in the final of the competition. So many people contributed to making our day perfect, and by having it in print, it's a great way to say thank you to our guests.

Why they should win: We'd been dreaming of our wedding for more than 10 years and we feel incredibly lucky it turned out just how we'd imagined, even more so that it was nominated for the final.
